Qt sdk 4.6.4 download. I am trying to install Qt on mac, and i get some problems. Qt creator is running fine. i dowloaded qt-mac-cocoa-opensource-4.6.4.dmg and install it. but when the installation were complete, in the Developer/Tools/Qt i have only one shortCut to qmake. i have read the recent "post":https://www.agile-workers.com/web/2012/03/qt-qmake-osx_sdk-xcode/ about an xcode update, but still i did not managed. I was thinking that i was trying to use the most user-friendly system (apple) with the most user-friendly framework, and i am facing some complications :( Would someone have some > Qt Creator binary is located in /Developer/Applications/Qt. well suspected :) (& corrected) the full SDK is full of many tools that i don't currently need, like mobile simulator. Thanks for the link. I will try this link now, but it does the same as before, and that's why i worried if there is a problem with the new xcode. perhaps i have to uninstall before. For this, i perhaps need to run the uninstall.py, any clue of how do we do that? New xcode does come with many surprises, true :) But it should work. You might need to install Apple's Command Line Tools, too - Xcode seems to be installed without them (in Xcode go to Preferences/Downloads, command line tools should be available there as an option. If not, they are also available on Apple's developer site). Thanks again for your response. following the post previously given : ##i have installed Maports ## then @>sudo port selfupdate@ in the terminal went ok. to run a .py script, for those who know nothing about linux : @>cd usr/bin@ then @>sudo python Developer/Tools/uninstall-qt.py@ for example, will uninstall the package.
